11.07.2020H.I.T. Program Closing Ceremony (online)

The closing ceremony of the H.I.T. Program took place online last Monday, 6 July, ending the first leadership program for female professors in Switzerland. 

Prof. Beatrice Beck Schimmer, Vice President Medicine, gave the welcome address on behalf of the University of Zurich, the leading house of the program. Prof. Sarah Springman, Rector ETH Zurich spoke about the challenges and opportunities women leaders have in academia.

In their testimonials, the twenty-two participants underlined the importance of continuing this nationwide initiative in Switzerland and its huge impact for a more diverse and inclusive academic leadership.

The H.I.T. Program partners, representing all Swiss universities, are fully committed to developing this unique initiative in Switzerland in the near future.
